Guitar Faculty: Parker Scinta
Parker Scinta has performed across the country for the past four years as a competitive classical guitarist. He has studied various instruments including saxophone, piano, and guitar since the age of 9. In 2006 Parker began his collegiate musical studies at Western Kentucky University and later received the first scholarship given to a classical guitarist at the school. In 2008 he was selected to participate in the world famous Christopher Parkening Master Class in Bozeman, Montana. Parker has participated in master classes with many world famous classical guitarists including Christopher Parkening, Kristian Anderson, Dale Kavenaugh, Carlos Perez, Jason Vieaux and many more. He is currently on full scholarship, finishing his Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance at the University of Louisville and will begin his Masters Degree in the spring.
