Voice Faculty: Nathan Wilson
Nathan Wilson holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in vocal performance from the University of Louisville and Ithaca College, respectively.
A member of the Louisville Academy of Music's voice faculty since 2006, Nathan has also taught at Bellarmine University, Kentucky State University and the University of Louisville. Students of Nathan's have participated in Music Theater Louisville, attended Louisville's Youth Performing Arts High School, been chosen to participate in the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts, and fared well in competitions in both Kentucky and Indiana. Several of Nathan's former students are finding success at the college level, in both vocal performance and musical theatre.
Nathan has appeared with Utah Festival Opera, Kentucky Opera, the Louisville Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, Musica Toscana, Amici Opera, the Louisville Ballet, the Choral Arts Society, and the Concert Chorale of Nashville. An active performer in opera and concert music, his 2011 engagements include performances with the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, Choral Arts Society, Kentucky Opera and Opera New Jersey.
