VOICE FACULTY
Nathan Wilson holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in vocal performance from the University of Louisville and Ithaca College, respectively.
A member of the Louisville Academy of Music's voice faculty since 2006, Nathan is also a member of the music department faculty at Bellarmine University, and a former faculty member of the University of Louisville School of Music, where he was a graduate teaching assistant. Students of Nathan's have participated in Music Theater Louisville, attended Louisville's Youth Performing Arts High School, been chosen to participate in the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts, and fared well in competitions in both Kentucky and Indiana. Several of Nathan's former students are finding success at the college level, in both vocal performance and musical theatre.
Nathan has performed with Kentucky
Opera, Musica Toscana, Amici Opera, the Louisville
Ballet, and as a soloist with the Concert Chorale of Nashville.
During the 2007-2008 season he will sing Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro
as a guest of the University of Louisville and as a guest of the
Karol Szymanowski Conservatory in Katowice, Poland.
